Report Card

Here's my fake report card - my assessment of the spring semester and the grades I gave the courses.

Major: Cinema & Photography
Minor: Not anymore, I'm 21

Cinema Production 1: Fell in love with cinema. Learned to love all movies. Found a group of uniformly pale and talented people. Found a mentor (who on separate occasions took us barefoot into the snow and taught in pajamas). Grade: A+.

Acting 1: Gave me a framework and a bit of confidence. Comfortable environment. Plan to follow with Acting 2, 3 & 4. Grade: A- (because I wanted to slap my scene partner).

History of Photography: Saw a ton of great photographs. Will influence my films. Spent way too much time on old farts. Professor too smart for his own good. Grade: B- (recommended for Diallo Dixon).

Shakespeare: Spent the whole semester on one old fart, but it was worth it. He's good. Grade: A.

Academic Writing II: Fundamentals of English. Stuff you need to know to write Shakespeare papers anyway. Blasted college students. Grade: F (recommended for Mark Hylton).

Merits for: Ann Arbor, VoiceStream
Demerits for: Marijuana, Cigarettes

Are those your grades received or personal ratings of the courses?

They give out demerits at this level?

Courses titled "Fundamentals" tend to indicate the basic necessity. Try to follow along the yellow brick road.
